It's over! The battle's lost and won! Thankyou so much to everyone who took part; you make Fox the special place it is.
So, in the final reckoning, we have the following to award:
The Vuelta tends not to have the usual white jersey to award the most promising young rider, but awards red racing numbers instead. As ever, because most of our riders are getting on a bit (sorry) and therefore over the twenty-something threshold, we award this prize to the most promising new-ish rider. This year, we're awarding it to Claire and second to Ian H. Both riders have achieved huge things since starting their riding with Fox, and we're dazzled by your awesomeness. Well done, and keep it going. You rock.
The Combativity award has to go to Grandad for his aggressive use of inferior hotel gym equipment in pursuit of points for his team.
The Green jersey for the most points won goes to Mel, and second to Vicky. Mel's avatar was on top form and proved unstoppable. No one gets him next year!
King of the Mountains is Pilot P for his improvement in power:weight ratio. Second is Queen of the Mountains, Mel, only a short way behind.
And finally, the team winning the generaly classification for the most MEPs earned during the race is Caja Rural, and the red jersey itself is going to Pilot, and if he falls off the perch or is busted for doping, Grandad gets it second.
Well done, chaps!
Same again next year?
