We are running an extra special Progressive In Season Training programme from the Fox studio, starting on 4th April (Thursday) and will Mondays and/or Thursdays. Take as much or as little as you want.
what is it?
P.I.S.T. is a 12 week programme designed especially to improve any training you're doing on the road and make you fitter, faster and stronger.
The sessions will alternate between chain gangs, climbs and HIIT. Each session will designed cater for both riders who need to take a recovery session, as well as those who are using the studio sessions for extra hard training in the brilliant controlled environment that is the studio.
Added to this, we will be offering additional PainCaves (hard 2 hour sessions on selected Sunday mornings) and VelvetCaves (hard 2 hour sessions at a much easier time of day on selected Wednesday and Sunday evenings).
why do i need it?
If you're training on the road, this will give you extra focused work. Lots of timed intervals, metrics you can rely on, and no interruptions such as freewheeling down hills, stopping at junctions, road furniture, snippy drivers, or mechanicals - or whingeing mates. It's the most efficient way to train all year round.
What if I did a hard ride the day before?
That's normal for spring! And that's why we've built in recovery session options so you can really take your training seriously.
what if i'm not training for anything?
Not all Fox riders are training for something specific. Many of them have goals, but not all. That said, an effective workout's a good thing - better, faster results, and you can get back to your real life. Join in if you fancy a bit of camaraderie and a challenge.
what if i'm new?
It's a great way to meet (and sweat with) new people. Foxy riders are a lovely bunch, it's still true even though we're biased.
what if i don't like exercise?
It's probably your only option to get away from Brexit for a bit.
