It's official - the PainCave has come of age; we caused the first ever pre-dawn traffic jam on Sunday in Portishead. We completed 312km around Mallorca in 2 hrs. Result.
Next PainCave? We have only 8 spaces remaining for the next one on 7am, 11th November. Yes that's right. It's Remembrance Sunday, and so we are marking the occasion with sweat (obviously) and also we'll be tackling stage 3 of the Tour de Normandie. This is the profile:
Not much in the way of mountains - but don't be deceived, as Greg LeMond memorably said, "It doesn't get easier, you just get faster." There are a few cheeky peaks, sprint stages, and there will be much in the way of shenanigans - if you can get up for it of course.
As it is Remembrance Sunday, if you book with a credit, we will be donating the proceeds to the Royal British Legion. Please also bring any money you'd like to donate to their poppy appeal, and we'll pass it on.
And of course, if you're coming (and ONLY if you're coming!) feel free to suggest music. All track suggestions will be subject to the approval of our musicology chimp who will be checking for quality beats, non-squeaky vocals, and wholesome family values in the lyrics. The chimp's decision is final. (Barbieworld is unlikely to get a pass.)
